Caregiver Support & Respite Services

Whether you need a break from your caregiving responsibilities to tackle your to-do list, resources to grow your caregiving skills, time to see friends and family, or a nap to recharge — we can step in. We also offer groups where you can connect with others in the same situation.

Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota, through Caregiver Support & Respite Services, supports adults 60 years and older who receive care so that they can remain active, healthy and living in their own home as long as possible. Participants enjoy fun activities like playing cards and doing crafts. This is a great way for them to make new friends in a safe environment with trained volunteers.

Afternoon Adventures Group meets Mondays, noon - 4 p.m, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1515 5th Ave. NW, East Grand Forks. To learn more or get started, contact Julie Praska-Moser at 218-686-6228 or email julie.praska-moser@lssmn.org.
