We gather our light and shine our hope for all the world.

We are a combined congregation of Family of God Lutheran ELCA and Grand Forks UCC. Our intention is to do whatever we can to work for justice and shine light in our community.

A place where diversity is not only talked about, but it is lived and celebrated!

Our open and affirming congregations intentionally welcome everyone to all church activities and leadership roles regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, marital status, social or economic state, physical or mental challenge and whether you are confident or questioning in your faith.

“You are the light of the world.”

— Jesus

Following the example of Jesus and his first-century community, we shine our light and lift up those in need. We also encourage people to take a stand on social issues which matter to them. Current concerns include food security, the environment, LGBT rights, racism, welcoming New Americans, and homelessness. We respond to requests for food, shelter, clothing and other assistance as we are able - and we’re usually able!

MISSION STATEMENT

We share God’s light by being
progressive servants in our community.
